Is the orchard open for pick your own cherries?

No bookings are needed - just come along and enjoy picking your own cherries! We are open every day from 8am to 6pm during our season, which runs from mid-December to the end of January, for both pick your own and gate sales - rain or shine, except Christmas Day when we are closed. Which cherries will I receive if I order online?

When you order online, we select the freshest and best cherries available for your dispatch date. The types of cherries sent will depend on the weather and which varieties are ripe at the time of packing.

Which courier service do you use for shipping cherries?

All online orders are shipped with NZ Post's overnight perishable service. Please be aware that, due to the busy time of year, next-day delivery cannot always be guaranteed by the courier. We recommend choosing your dispatch date carefully to allow for possible delays.

Do you deliver to rural addresses?

Yes, we do, however, please be aware that the delivery time to rural addresses extends out to 2-3 days after dispatch. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the condition in which the cherries will arrive. We recommend getting your order delivered to a non-rural address where you can collect your cherries from to make sure they arrive fresh.

How should I store my cherries?

To keep your cherries at their freshest, refrigerate them as soon as you get home or receive your delivery, and they'll stay fresh and delicious for up to 10 days. Our cherries arrive pre-washed and ready to enjoy.
